Entrance Exam for Hotel Management is being conducted by the NCHMCT (National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology) at the PAN India level. The organization is under the ministry of tourism, the government of India. The organization conducts NCHMCT Entrance Exam every year and select candidates for the further study in catering and hospitality sectors. Every year, a joint entrance examination is being conducted by NCHMCT to provide seats in different colleges to the successful meritorious students. Those candidates who pass this national level entrance examination are authorized to participate in NCHM JEE counseling process.
Keeping the NCHM JEE (National Council of Hotel Management Joint Entrance Exam) result aside, the NCHM JEE Counseling is actually the time when a candidate gains fruit to his/her serious preparation with the decision of board members. The counseling process for India’s undergraduate degree courses in the administration and hospitality sector is fairly simple.The seat allotment procedure is completely based on all India rank acquired by the candidate. The NCHM JEE Counseling will be conducted in three phases, online registration is mandatory for all the students who are expecting the seat in any one of the three stages.
Important phases of counseling:
The board will float dates as to when the online registration page shall be available. After generating the password and complete registration, there will be ordered preferences in which you need to fill your preferred stream at your preferred college. A candidate can exercise as many numbers of options in the order of preference from the list of participating institutes. Choices of colleges can be changed or rearranged any number of times before the given deadline; you will be allotted one of your preferred colleges (Choose among the Top 10 colleges of NCHMCT JEE) according to the rank in 1st phase of NCHM JEE online counseling. In the next process of counseling, a candidate has to report in person to the nearest reporting center and submit a printout of your options, allotment order, and all other important documents that you will be duly notified by the letter or email.
Candidates can check NCHM JEE 1st phase counseling results on the website only, he or she will be asked to enter the roll number and password to view your allotment. After this, the second round of counseling will be conducted again. Participation in subsequent rounds of joint entrance examination counseling depends on the option that you had selected in the first allotment. Admission to allotted college and hostel allotment- Candidates, who have taken provisional admission in NCHM JEE 2020 counselling round one, two or spot round will be required to report at the allotted institution/college along with allotment letter and original testimonials with attested copies to complete the admission related formalities.
