The GGSIPU CET B.Com 2020 is going to be held on May 5, 2020 between  2 PM to 4:30 PM. Syllabus Topics:

There are three sections in the paper which are:

1. General Knowledge

News of trade, sports, award ceremonies in the area of films, other awards and awardees, inventions and discoveries, history, geography, abbreviations and more. This section will cover both static GK and current affairs.

2. Logical reasoning

This section will cover topics such as finding the odd one out, missing number or alphabet in the series, verbal reasoning, relationships based questions, and other similar logic topics

3. General English

Vocabulary is the big part of this section. Synonyms and antonyms dominate the paper. Reading passage is another integral portion, para jumbles are included, and so is one-word substitution for a phrase. Sentence completion, uncommon words, the relation between words, idioms and phrases are all part of the curriculum.

4. Data interpretation

Here Maths questions such as percentages, calendars based questions, time-speed and distance based questions, areas and volumes, logic-based analogies, assessment of diagrams, and given figures are all included along with bar charts, pie charts, graph charts, table charts and more similar questions.

1. Mode of the exam- The exam would take place in offline or pen paper format.

2. Exam duration- The duration of the paper is 2.5 hours.

3. Language of the paper-The medium of the exam would be English only.

4. Format of the exam- All questions would be objective in nature and will be multiple choice questions. One has to mark the correct answer by filling in the OMR sheet against that answer choice using a blue or black ball point pen only.

5. Weightage of different sections- The distribution of weightage of marks for every section is as follows:

6. Marking scheme- Each correct answer would get you 4 marks and all incorrect answers would get 1 mark deducted from your score. If you leave a question unanswered then zero marks are awarded which means no difference is made to your score.

7. Maximum questions and marks- The total number of questions in the paper are 150, and the maximum marks for the same are 600.
