Delhi University JAT Entrance Exam 2024 Syllabus

The Delhi University 2024 Joint Admission Test for BMS Admissions will be conducted in June 2024. Therefore let us look at details related to DU JAT exam and syllabus. Four sections of the DU JAT Exam

There are 4 sections covered in the syllabus of DU JAT exam 2024 which are Maths or Quantitative Ability (Upto Class-XIIth) , Reasoning and Analytical ability, General English, and Business & General Awareness.

Maths or quantitative ability syllabus

Reasoning syllabus

Subsequently, let us look at the DU JAT exam 2024 syllabus for reasoning and analytical ability. Once again this section is made up of questions 25 questions worth 75 marks. This encompasses topics such as verbal reasoning, letter series, artificial language also called coding based questions, analogy, calculating distance traversed based on directions followed, diagram based questions, and analogy plus syllogisms

English syllabus

In continuity let us move on to the General English syllabus for DU JAT Exam. This section entails questions like reading comprehension, filling in the blanks, grammar, vocabulary including synonyms and antonyms, and word pairing. The number of questions from here will also be 25 and each question is for 3 marks hence we can construe that there are 75 marks from here.

GK syllabus

Finally, let us finish with the General awareness syllabus for DU JAT exam 2024. This section covers history, geography, science, politics, computers, economics, and current affairs. In this section, you may also be tested on your knowledge of different brands, and their logos, news from media and literature, sports news, news on movies, arts, music, and also special emphasis is on business and economy. This section also consists of 25 questions of 3 mark each.

This DU JAT exam detailed syllabus and can be used as the DU JAT exam syllabus book. The total number of questions in this paper are 100 and each question is for 3 marks and the maximum score is 300 and for every wrong answer there is a negative marking of 1 mark. One last thing to mark here is that there used to be a GD-PI round in the DU JAT exam earlier which has been scrapped and now admissions will take place only on the basis of DU JAT score and scores of the grade XII qualifying exam.
