NUSRL, RANCHI is going to conduct the CLAT 2024. Candidates who are willing to appear in CLAT 2024 must be aware of the eligibility criteria. It has been already announced that if any of the candidates will found not eligible then their candidature will be canceled for admission process and no further communication will be entertained.
CLAT 2024 Dates has been announced by the CLAT Consortium. CLAT 2024 application form will be released from 1st January 2024, and the notification will be released in the last week of December. NUSRL, RANCHI is the conducting body for CLAT 2024. Candidates are advised to check the CLAT 2024 eligibility guidelines before filling up the application form.
In this article, we are giving all the relevant information related to the eligibility criteria of CLAT 2024 for both UG and PG programs. It should be noted that every NLU participating in CLAT 2024 has its own eligibility criteria of CLAT 2024.
CLAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
For UG Programmes :
- Qualification:Candidates who have passed their 12th or 12th appearing candidate can apply for CLAT 2024.
- Aspirants belong to the general category or OBC category or specially-abled category having 45% marks or above in their +2 exam can apply.
- Aspirants who belong to the SC or ST category having 40% marks or more in their +2 exam can apply
- There is no upper age limit to appear in CLAT 2024.
For PG Programmes :
- Qualification: Aspirants need to have a valid Bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent. Integrated 5 year degree and 3-year degree both the programs are accepted.
- Aspirants belong to the general category or OBC category need to have a minimum of 55% in their bachelor’s degree.
- SC/ST candidate is given 5% of relaxation in qualifying marks i.e, they need to have 50% in their bachelor degree.
- Like UG programs, PG programs are also not having any upper age limit for CLAT 2024.
- No. Of Attempts: NO. of attempts is not limited in CLAT. A candidate can apply for CLAT as many times as he/she wants.

Key highlights of CLAT 2024 Eligibility criteria :
- There is no upper age limit for both the UG and PG programs. But candidates would have to meet the other criteria to be eligible to appear in CLAT 2024.
- Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exams in 2024 are also eligible to apply in CLAT 2024.
- SC/ST Candidates are given 5% of relaxation in the marks of the qualifying examination.
