AILET Eligibility Criteria 2024

AILET Eligibility criteria includes the minimum qualification, age limit and other binding guidelines for AILET. Candidates have to meet AILET eligibility 2024 for the courses offered to participate in AILET 2024.

Candidates willing to appear in AILET Exam must be aware of the eligibility criteria. If a candidate fails to meet AILET Eligibility criteria 2024 then their candidature will be deemed unfit for the admission process.

AILET entrance exam offers admission to five-year BA LLB program and LLM one-year program. AILET eligibility criteria is different for unidentical programs.

Aspirants should either be Class XII pass outs or awaiting results to take admission in BA LLB. Candidates opting for LLM program must have completed their LLB while those in LLB final year are also eligible for AILET 2024.

AILET 2024 Dateswere announced by NLU, Delhi. AILET application form is available on the official website of NLU, Delhi: nludelhi.ac.in. Last date to fill AILET 2024 application form is April 8, 2024.

Candidates are advised to check AILET Eligibility Criteria before filling up the application form.

AILET 2024 Eligibility Criteria 
For BA LLB five-year Program
  • Qualification: Class XII pass outs and appearing candidates can apply for the BA LLB five-year Degree Program. 
  • Candidates from the general category should have scored a minimum of 50 percent marks in Class XII. 
  • Maximum age limit: There is no age limit to apply for AILET 2024.
For LLM one-year Programme
  • Qualification: Aspirants need to have done LLB three-year program. Both Integrated five-year degree and three-year degree programs are accepted.
  • Candidates should have scored a minimum of 55 percent marks in LLB. SC,ST and PwD candidates are given a relaxation of 5 percent.
  • Maximum age limit: There is no age bar to appear for LLM one-year program offered by AILET 2024
  • Number of Attempts: There is no limit on the number of attempts for All India Law Entrance Test.

AILET Eligibility criteria 2024: Key Pointers

  1. There is no upper age limit for both BA LLB and LLM programs. Candidates, however, must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria to be eligible for AILET 2024.
  2. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exams in 2024 are also eligible to apply for AILET 2024.
  3. There is no age bar for AILET 2024.
  4. Only those who meet AILET eligibility criteria 2024 will be offered admission.
  5. Candidates who fail to meet the AILET eligibility criteria will have their candidature rejected for the admission process.
  6. Candidates must ensure that they meet AILET eligibility criteria 2024.

Q:What are the eligibility criteria for the AILET 2024?
A: The AILET eligibility criteria 2024 is different for both the courses: BA LLB and LLM. For BA LLB Program, candidates must have scored a minimum of 50 percent marks in Class XII while for LLM program, candidates need to have an LLB with 55 percent marks.

Q: What is the maximum age limit to appear in AILET 2024? 
A: There is no age limit for AILET 2024. 

Q: If I fail to meet AILET Eligibility criteria 2024 but I have qualified the AILET 2024 entrance exam. Will I be allowed for the admission process? 
A:No one is granted an admission sans meeting the eligibility criteria. Your candidature will be canceled and you will not be allowed for the admission process even if you have qualified AILET 2024 exam.
