The Symbiosis Entrance Test or SET is a national level law exam conducted by the prestigious Symbiosis International University in May once every year. The SET Entrance Exam enables the aspirants to take admission into any 1 of the 3 Symbiosis Law Schools (SLS) - SLS Pune, SLS Noida and SLS Hyderabad. The exam opens up two programs to the aspirants - BA LLB and BBA LLB which can be pursued from the 3 law schools. The University offers 840 seats in total for the 2 programs across the 3 law schools.

The SET law entrance exam is now known as the Symbiosis Law Admission Test or SLAT. It is held across 85 cities in India!

SET Entrance Exam Eligibility

Basic eligibility for the exam is as follows:

• The candidate must have passed 12th standard.
• General category students must have an aggregate of 45% marks.
• SC/ ST category students must have an aggregate of 40% marks.

SET Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The SET entrance exam is a multiple choice type question paper. The exam duration is of 150 minutes in which the candidates have to answer 150 questions. It is conducted only in online mode. There is no negative marking in the SET entrance exam and each correct answer carries 1 mark.

The SET syllabus consists of 5 main sections with 30 questions each which are as follows:

• Reading Comprehension 
• General Knowledge
• Legal Reasoning
• Analytical Reasoning
• Logical Reasoning
