The NCHMCT exam notification 2018 has been announced jointly by IGNOU and NCHMCT. NCHMCT offers admission in B.Sc in hospitality and hotel management in 58 campuses of IHM. It is a 3-year program. As per the Hotel management entrance exam admission 2018 notification, NCHMCT JEE Entrance Exam will be held on April 28, 2018.
Eligibility:
- The NCHMCT JEE admission notification notifies that one should have cleared his or her grade XII exam with English being a mandatory subject to be able to apply. Same for the open school candidates.
- Those appearing in the grade XII exam can also apply provided they later clear grade XII exam.
- The candidates should have cleared the exam from the CBSE or state board, or ICSE board.
- The candidates can also apply if they cleared grade X plus two years of college.
- Foreign students can apply if they complete the GCE exam from London or Cambridge or Sri Lanka at the advanced level. This foreign university should have been recognized by the association of Indian Universities
- If someone cleared the HSC Vocational Exam for approval by NCVT and SCVT then he can apply too.
- The results for the same qualifying exams should have been declared on or before 30 September 2018.
- The age limit criteria of NCHMCT JEE admission notification notifies that aspirants should not be more than 22 years of age as on July 1, 2018. There is an age relaxation for SC and ST candidates. This age limit is 25 years. Same for physically handicapped candidates. One's date of birth proof will be SSC certificate.
Application forms:
- All eligible candidates can apply. There are two ways marked in the NCHMCT entrance exam notification 2018 for applications. The first method is to fill NCHMCT Application Form online which will be available in the public domain between December 24, 2017- April 11, 2018.
- The offline forms would be available in December 2017 in the third week. These forms can be found on nchm.nic.in
Fitness certificate:
Submission of proof of physical fitness is compulsory while filling the form. Read more on http://nchm.nic.in.
Reservation Provisions under the NCHMCT JEE admission notification :
There is 15% reservation for SC, 7.5 % for ST, 27% for OBC and 5% for Physically Handicapped. There is also a provision for Kashmiri migrants of one seat per college.
Test Centers:
The candidates have to submit their test centres choices in the application forms from out of 33 cities which are the designated test centres.

Results:
The results would be announced in the 3rd week of May 2018. The links for Result are nchmcounselling.nic.in and nchm.nic.in The academic session, 2018-21 would commence on July 2, 2018.
Other important information:
NCHMCT JEE exam admission criteria informed that admissions will be based on AIR ranks, and no group discussion and interview would take place. The exam would take place in Hindi, and English. There are a total of 8727 seats.
