Amongst all courses, one of the main courses offered by the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai is B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. The admission to this course is done through NCHM JEE conducted by National Council for Hotel Management and Catering technology (NCHMCT). The examination is being conducted in the month of April. The application form for the exam is available from December to April in both online and offline mode. The fees for the NCHM application form is –

Students, after filling up the form are required to post the form to the Noida office of NCHMCT through speed post/ registered post. The form is not acceptable if posted from any other post as specified by NCHMCT.
IHM, Mumbai provides all the facilities to the students, which is required during their course. The institute has many kitchens that are being used during the students training on how to prepare and cook multi cuisine food. The college also provides a training restaurant through which students get real exposure in the Hospitality and Hotel Management industry.
To get admission in the best IHM’s, students are required to score good marks/ rank in NCHM Joint Entrance Exam. The exam is in the format of Multiple Choice questions (MCQ) and it carries 200 questions of 1 mark each with 5 sections in total. Students will not be allowed to sit for the exam if they don’t carry their admit card to the test centers. After the declaration of result, merit list is being prepared by exam conducting authority of NCHMCT. The students are ranked according to the merit list. Further NCHM counselling is being done to allot the colleges to the students as per their marks in NCHM JEE.
