Indraprastha University is going to conduct the entrance exam for admission into its BBA course and this exam will take place on May 26, 2018. This is a national level exam for the selection of BBA aspirants who will be given admission in various colleges offering the BBA course under the Indraprastha University on the basis of their scores and ranks in the exam. This article will tell you all you need to know about the pattern of the exam.
IPU BBA Exam pattern:
Mode of Exam and Total sections/subjects:
- The exam will be in the offline mode which means the exam will have to be solved in pencil paper mode.
- An OMR sheet will be provided to all applicants and students have to mark the correct answer on the sheet using a black ball pen. It must be remembered that students can only use black ink and that too only ball pens.
- The total sections in the paper are four. These four sections are English language and comprehension, general awareness, logical and analytical ability and aptitude related to management and communication.
- All four sections carry equal weightageof 25% thus making a whole of 100%. All questions will be of the 10+2 level and not above.
Total questions and duration of the BBA Entrance Exam:
- The total number of questions is 150 and all are objective type multiple choice questions.
- The duration of the paper is 2.5 hours. This means 150 questions are to be solved in 150 minutes less time should be allocated.
IPU BBA Entrance Exam - Marking scheme:
- The marking pattern is such that +4 marks will be allotted to students for a correct answer.
- There is negative marking You will lose 1 mark for every wrong answer. If you mark two answers then again your answer is deemed incorrect and you lose 1 mark. This applies even if one answer of the two answers that you mark is correct. So no marking multiple answers.
- This makes the total marks of the paper of marks= total questions* marks per question= 150*4=600. Thus, the total maximum marks are 600.
The language of the paper:
- The entire question paper will only be in English Language.
